FertilityCare™ Centers of America (FCCA) is an international, non-profit organization, which was established for the primary purpose of promoting the services of the Creighton Model FertilityCare™ System and the new reproductive medical and surgical science of NaProTECHNOLOGY in the United States and Canada. FCCA is a dynamic, growing group of affiliated centers that provide professional instruction in the Creighton Model FertilityCare™ System. This is a comprehensive system of family planning that monitors and maintains a woman’s health. The number of these centers is growing at a rapid pace. As a means of avoiding pregnancy, the Creighton Model System has a rate of 99.5% method effectiveness (perfect use) and 96.8% use effectiveness (typical use). Since it is not strictly a method of contraception, but rather a method of true family planning, it can also be used to achieve pregnancy by simply reversing its use. Unlike many methods of family planning, the Creighton Model System is medically safe and has no known side effects associated with its use.
Besides its use as a means of avoiding and achieving pregnancy, it has been found to be extremely helpful to women with reproductive problems such as infertility, repetitive miscarriage and previous prematurity. In addition, it is helpful in women who have abnormal bleeding, premenstrual syndrome, recurrent ovarian cysts and dating the beginning of pregnancy from its true beginning – the estimated time of conception.
